Soooooo, how does this work?
It is a netlabel that provides free music, audio books, print toys and other fun stuff online to kids. We are encouraging kids to submit content, as well.

Who owns the rights to what?
Copyrights belong to the artists and writers. We are hoping artists will go for the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike License, so that we can mirror on the Internet Archive. This particular license means that:
(a) if your content is used by others, users must note that you made it
(b) no one can make money using your content without getting your consent
(c) if anyone modifies your content (like remixes), they must then share what they create with this same license

However, all artists choose whatever copyright system they prefer. From full rights to public domain, it is all written into the online submission form.

Is there some sort of selection process for what music is on your label?
We are building a staff who can help out with A&R and deciding if the material is appropriate.

Are you selling anything?
No, no way. This is all volunteer, all for the kids. (read more...)

Who is behind this project?
That would be me, Katya from OddioOverplay.com. Several of the folks involved and I worked on a community netlabel called Comfort Stand Recordings, founded by Otis Fodder of The Bran Flakes. That netlabel had kids on it and music that a lot of kids enjoy. There is no other fun netlabel like that out there for kids' submissions. Now there will be! I hope you will join us and spread the word to all the children in your life.

What can I do?
Oh boy! You can do so much here. It just depends on your talents. We need contributors and staff. Try clicking those pink buttons under ARTISTS in the menu.
